The US House of Representatives has for a third time approved a War Powers resolution calling for an end to US military operations against Iran and seeking to prevent further military action without congressional approval.
According to US media reports, the resolution was passed by a vote of 220-204.
All Democratic lawmakers backed the measure, along with seven Republican members of the House.
The resolution seeks to assert Congress’s constitutional authority over decisions involving further US military action against Iran.
