ISLAMABAD: Technology company Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile, an authorised Apple distributor, have announced a partnership aimed at making genuine Apple products and formal enterprise support more accessible to businesses across Pakistan.
The partnership seeks to address longstanding challenges faced by organisations adopting Apple devices, including limited direct enterprise support and reliance on informal markets and indirect sales channels.
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and Senior Vice-President of SAGE Mercantile, said businesses could save up to Rs80,000 per handset by purchasing Apple products, including iPhones, through formal, PTA-approved channels instead of sourcing devices through the grey market, including routes such as Dubai.
The companies said the partnership would help businesses access Apple products through authorised channels while providing a more structured approach to procurement and enterprise technology support in Pakistan.
