Saad Rafique Urges PTI to Defer Protest, Calls for Talks With Clear Mandate

Must read

Former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to postpone its planned sit-in, saying the government had entered negotiations with full authority to make decisions and that PTI should come to the table with a clear mandate for its demands.

Mr. Rafique said political differences should not deepen the country’s divisions, particularly as terrorism continues to affect civilians and the country needs greater unity amid the prevailing security challenges.

He also called for administrative reforms across Pakistan, saying smaller political and administrative units should be created not only in Punjab but in all four provinces.
