PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has called for an end to political tensions in the country, saying the situation should not be allowed to escalate further.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Gohar said lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar had managed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan and had received some instructions regarding his health and legal cases.
He said reports about Imran Khan’s health were not encouraging and had caused concern across the country.
The PTI chairman urged authorities to end the political tensions and stop the alleged arrests of lawmakers, party workers and supporters.
He also called for a decision on Imran Khan’s transfer to hospital and medical treatment, and demanded the immediate release of his sisters.
Barrister Gohar also filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking implementation of its August 18 order.
