Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition Forces in Yemen, stated that the Houthis have targeted civilians and civilian property, a move that highlights their extremist mindset and policy of escalating tensions.

Al-Maliki affirmed that the coalition forces would respond to the attacks with determination and resolve, and that all necessary operational and defensive measures would be taken to counter the Houthis.

Earlier, the Saudi-led military coalition reported that 13 civilians were injured on Monday following multiple attacks involving ballistic missiles and drones launched by Houthi forces against Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that the day before, the Yemeni Houthis had claimed responsibility for an attack on Saudi Arabia's King Khalid Air Base using ballistic missiles and drones.
