Nobel Peace Prize laureate Navi Pillay has called for legal action against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing events in the Gaza Strip as unequivocal genocide.
In an interview, Ms. Pillay also criticised US President Donald Trump’s remarks, saying both international and American law require political leaders to refrain from inflammatory statements.
She warned that what she described as Mr. Trump’s irresponsible rhetoric could fuel public anger and heighten tensions.
