Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Elementary and Secondary Education Department has formed a three-member inquiry committee to investigate alleged financial irregularities in the procurement of tablets and computers for schools.
The committee will examine the rationale for the purchases, the use and distribution of the equipment, and audit objections raised over the procurement process. It has been directed to submit its findings within three days.
Officials said the inquiry would cover the purchase of tablets and personal computers worth approximately Rs360 million.
