Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman criticized the government during a National Assembly session, saying that differences over its position on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had turned its members against him.
Speaking in the assembly, Fazlur Rehman said the government had advocated removing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government over the issue of terrorism, while dismissing the sacrifices made by others.
“When we disagreed with your position, you turned against us,” he said.
Fazlur Rehman added that he would not take a position while uncertain, saying he needed to be satisfied before committing to a stance.
