Iran condemns all forms of US pressure and is not afraid of war to protect its sovereignty and security, Iranian Army Deputy Commander Habibullah Sayyari said.
Mr Sayyari said the intervention of external powers in the Middle East had undermined regional unity and cooperation.
He called on the international community to oppose what he described as US unilateralism and the “law of the jungle”.
The Iranian commander stressed that Tehran remained committed to safeguarding its sovereignty and national security amid growing tensions in the region.
