The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 is being held across Pakistan today for admission to medical and dental colleges, with more than 138,000 candidates appearing for the examination.
According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the test is being conducted at examination centres in 34 cities across the country, along with an international centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Separate question papers have been prepared for each province to conduct the examination, the PMDC said.
The council has also removed the mandatory requirement for a juvenile card. Candidates who do not possess the card will therefore be allowed to sit for the MDCAT 2026.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Testing Service (STS) has dismissed reports circulating on social media about the alleged leak or release of the MDCAT question paper, describing the material as fake.
The testing authority has urged candidates not to trust or share unauthenticated question papers or misleading content circulating on social media.
