ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari has called for the integration of emerging technologies with ethical tourism frameworks, saying innovation should help strengthen local economies while preserving traditional values of hospitality.
In a message marking World Tourism Day 2026, Mr. Zardari invited international visitors to explore Pakistan’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
He said a forward-looking tourism strategy should combine modern connectivity and technological development with responsible practices and the country’s longstanding traditions of hospitality.
