Pakistan’s security forces have killed nine militants in separate operations in Balochistan, including seven in Kachhi district and two in Wadh district, the military’s media wing said.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces conducted an operation in Kachhi, where an exchange of fire left seven militants described by the military as Indian-sponsored dead. The forces also destroyed a militant hideout in the district, the statement said.
In a separate operation in Wadh district, security personnel killed two more militants whom the ISPR also described as Indian-sponsored.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered during the operations, according to the military.
The ISPR said clearance operations were continuing across the province to track down and eliminate other militants.
