Several Pakistani cricketers selected for the Abu Dhabi T10 League are still awaiting no-objection certificates (NOCs) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), leaving players concerned about their participation, sources said.
Franchises have reportedly contacted the players and urged them to secure the required clearances soon. Teams may replace Pakistani players if the NOCs are not issued before the tournament begins.
The Pakistani contingent includes Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Sufiyan Muqeem and Abbas Afridi.
Hasan Nawaz, Ali Raza, Azam Khan, Khawaja Nafay, Akeal Javed and Salman Irshad are also set to feature, along with Khushdil Shah and Haider Ali, who will represent different franchises.
The Abu Dhabi T10 League is scheduled to run from November 7 to 20.
